Yleis Engerman, MS, NCC, LADCI, LMHC has always had a passion for not only helping others, but for bettering them as a whole. She is a nationally certified counselor, licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts. As a Substance abuse counselor, Miss Engerman works collaboratively with her clients to establish effective skills that will continue to promote the desire for change and maintain their ability to cope with life’s stressors that often lead them back to the substance use and or abuse. Her clients are then empowered during each session to take an active role in their treatment by working through achievement and setbacks. Yleis takes pride in the work that she does with her clients, and is especially thankful for the learning and knowledge she has gained along the way.
Miss Engerman specialties include:
Depression, Substance Use/Abuse, and PTSD. her most common interventions implement CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other approaches tailored specifically to her client’s needs. Miss Engerman’s ideal clients are clients that are focused and motivated to get regain a sense of stability in their lives, and are willing to put forth the effort to do so. Clients that are ready to dig deep and work on issues that are way past the surface. Miss Engerman primarily sees individuals 18 years old and older at the TJocelyne Counseling and Consulting LLC Clinic.
In 2008, Yleis graduated from THE Alabama State University with a bachelors in Psychology, then went on to obtain her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015.
